This piece tries to capture the beauty of the milky way with a wide range of tone colors from the orchestral palette. Written with a strong impressionistic touch, the music starts with a vague idea that extends and grows subconsciously. Tonality shifts as the music proceeds, bringing along the image of the colorful galaxy. It was premiered by Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Shao En, in the Musicarama 2005 organized by HKCG.
