September 9th, 2005 A new beginning

Things done in this week:
1. Arranged friends and parents to watch DGS musical
2. Bought a lot of things as presents for myself:
- Yamaha DGX-300, which is the same model as the synthesizer I’ve used in 榕樹下!
- a pair of Fostex monitor speaker
- Roland SR-JV Asia board, which contains much more realistic chinese instrument sounds
3. Booked ship and hotel for my two days off to Macau
4. Watched the film “Swing Girls”, a really funny film about jazz band!
5. Still read a lot in wikipedia.org, and also inmediahk.net

Works burden need to finish in this week:
1. some meaningless arrangement for a music textbook publisher, just for money
2. background music for Mr. HK’s video.
3. the final editing of Yellow River for publishing >_<

And lots of job coming! How come my life is so busy?!
1. Teachiong centralized scheme CE music in east kowloon district.
That’s really a low-pay and heavy workload job. But I hope it is meaningful job
2. Teaching an extracurricular lesson about computer music composition in a secondary school.
3. Arrange for two musical, a primary school and a secondary school
4. Arrange music for a dance project.
5. Coming new music concert organized by Woody and friends.
6. Musicarama - my composition for master portfolio “Milkyway” will be performed by HKPO and conducted by 邵恩, perhaps need to revise the orchestration
7. Write chinese orchestral work for 竹韻小集

My wish list:
1. Apply for school, I don’t want to work so much, wasting my time, I want to further my study…
2. Improve my english and putonghua
3. Hope to write a large orchestral piece, or a chamber opera(?). If only I have time.
4. I promised to write homepage for someone, but I have delayed it for two years already!
5. Update the stuffs in my homepage…
6. Make some research and write a homepage about musical in HK, perhaps using Wiki ?
7. Practise jazz piano, and erhu
