HK Art Festival 2005 Ticket Reservation has begun!

My choices are:

Otello 18/2 (Friday)
琥珀 5/3 (Saturday)
長生殿 15/3 (Tuesday)
Divana (indian emsemble) 13/3 (Sunday)
Beethoven Symphony No. 3,4 1/3 (Tuesday)

Highly recommended 琥珀, Otello and 長生殿!

琥珀: 孟京輝 is probably the best drama director in mainland china. And 劉燁 is an excellent actor (he is the major charactor in the film 藍宇 and 戀之風光)

Otello: Otello is my best love Shakespeare drama. Last year just saw its drama performance. The story by its own is enough to overwhelm you! I’m anxious to see its opera version by Verdi. Plus it’s seldom to have chance to watch opera group from overseas. So it’s a must see!

長生殿: I missed to watch 牡丹亭 a few years ago. You can watch Cantonese in HK often, but you can seldom see 崑劇 in HK. What else can you ask for, when those performers let you enjoy a whole-night performance of 4 hours long?

Divana: I like indian and middle east culture, that’s it.

Beethoven: Though I’m not a Beethoven lover, I can’t miss the chance when everyone say they will go to see.
